Job Description


Prospect and cultivate new logo opportunities selling multi-channel contact center outsourcing services that are consistent with company objectives, goals, and standards to secure sales to meet revenue targets

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue target goals as determined by the Global Head of Sales. Position will be accountable to deliver a pre-determined $3MM - $10MM in annual sales quota that will vary based on VP Sales experience, assigned vertical and timing of hire. Identified ranges;
  • Retail and Automotive verticals $3MM-$7MM
  • Telco and Media verticals $5MM-$10MM
  • Technology vertical $4MM-$7MM
  1. Must have strong experience and relationships in the verticals of Telecom, Retail or Technology with proven success
  2. Manage sales pursuits from the point of discovery to needs assessment, instrumental in the development of the solution, value proposition and provocation, write proposals and presentations, and have the experience to sell the solution internally while working with the prospect to move the opportunity through the pipeline and close it.

4. Determine the viability of client programs based on client expectations and resources available to HGS to ensure expectations can be met and client programs are profitable.

5. Manage the business development communication process to ensure all affected departments are aware of client programs that will require resources.

6. Support marketing efforts by providing input, based on market indicators, on the development of services and providing pricing information for those services.

7. Keep abreast of market needs in the industry or industries targeted and keep offers management and client services informed.

8. Utilize an automation system to track and report the status of new business development efforts.

9. Interact closely with Client Services, I.T., Solution Engineers, and sales support team.

10. Artfully manage multi-national relationships within HGS and the prospective company as you negotiate terms in a professional environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field required
  • Master degree in Business or related field preferred
  • 6-10 years business-related experience required, with minimum 2 years Call Center experience preferred
  • Proficient in use of PC applications software: MS-Word, MS Project, Excel, and Visio
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently; resourcefully
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage conflict
  • Proven history of consistent year of year earnings of $250,000 or more
