Job Description


The Senior Director of healthcare and clinical solutions is responsible for supporting all business development efforts in healthcare. This position will build competitive market positioning with understanding of the broader scope, trends and perspectives that facilitate closure of new business opportunities. This position requires working with the global teams from business development, operations and SMEs, in order to meet the new business growth.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interfaces with the global teams to coordinate and strategize compelling business solutions for new opportunities with existing clients as well as with new clients.
  • Support the Payer, Provider and Global sales efforts in all clinical opportunities defined as scopes of services that involve use of a clinician or clinical records/ health records.
    • Strategize on prospect demographics
    • Multi-channel prospecting strategies
    • Value proposition alignment with customer needs
    • Getting HGS and the prospect on board with the solution
    • Proposal development
    • Working with HGS operations and finance as we seek the best solution
    • Work with HGS Finance on a winning pricing model as we seek internal consensus
    • Contract reviews into NDA, MSA and SOW
  • Work with the Analyst relations and marketing teams in developing collaterals and competency positioning in the core back office and clinical areas of healthcare services.
  • Participate and Attend Key HGS conferences on behalf of HGS Business Development in order to stay up to date on current trends, market drivers and needs of the customers.
  • Work with HGS Marketing and Sales to assist planning for scheduled conferences and events

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years if experience in supporting health care solutions across the administrative and clinical service lines.
  • Bachelor's or Masters Clinical degree preferred
  • Expert proficiency in PC computer software, to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of employees, from writers and operations resources to sales and executive leadership
  • Proven organizational skills - candidate must be able to both take direction and be self-directed and driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
